What makes you guys experts?

We have literally walked where you want to go.  We travelled, not just extensively, but for a living.  We will only send you on an experience that has passed our criteria.  In the process of travelling the world   to sniff out the best, we have built up masses of first-hand, lived–through experiences, travel tips, volumes of secret spots, restaurants, bars and best ways to experience a destination as well as a network of hotel managers, maitre d’s, sommeliers, guides, stylists etc who understand our standards and requirements.  What we bring to you is a total sum of experience, imagination, expertise, understanding of your needs, nitty-gritty groundwork, trip delivery and support.

What differentiates you from other travel agents/ agencies?

Standards + secrets = uniqueness.

All the experiences/ hotels/ restaurants we recommend you must surpass the demanding bars we have set.  We have been to the destinations ourselves and so we shared the secret spots, restaurants, best hotels, experiences to curate a totally “YOU” travel experience based on your preferences.

Can I just DIY the travel planning myself?

Yes you can.  You have to throw a lot of time at it.  Frankly, the end result may not be better than if you let us take care of it for you.   You will benefit from our pre-screened experiences, guides, travel spots, hotels, restaurants, airlines etc.

So, are local guides, transfers, sightseeing taken care of by you as well?

Yes.  We will arrange your accommodation, transfers, activities, local experiences, dining, special celebration.  The degree of “freedom” is up to you — the itinerary planned and packed to the minute or there can be more free time for you to do self-exploration.

How about flights?  Can you help us book that?

With online portals, it’s so easy for you to book flights convenient to your schedule and budget.  Booking a flight does not require much prior first-hand experience so there’s little for us to value add here.  So, we leave it to you to book at your convenience and comfort.   

Can I book my own hotels?

We wish that the entire local travel experience for you is a seamless one.  We need to take charge of this aspect to coordinate with all other aspects (sightseeing, transport, dining etc) in order to deliver a smooth and pleasurable experience for you. 

How long do you need to plan my itinerary?  How far in advance should I contact you?

This is a complex question.  That depends on a myriad of factors —– destination, period of travel, how far ahead of the trip you contact us.  Obviously, the earlier you contact us, the more certain you can get exactly what you want (guides, experiences, desired room, desired restaurant etc) before tickets are sold out, restaurants and rooms are booked and guides are allocated to other parties.  

Can you please explain your pricing? 

Each person’s preferences and requirements are different.  Hence, each itinerary is different.  Regardless, we will plan the variables and details and give you a single price tag which covers accommodation, transfer, transport, experiences.  What is usually not included in the price tag is tipping, visa, shopping, some meals, flight tickets.

Do you provide a breakdown of the trip price?

Unfortunately, that is not possible.  We often work with suppliers who work accommodation and other items into a convenient package price.  Moreover, it’s often too complicated, influenced by exchange rates, tailor-made customization and ancillary costs.  

How can I work out a budget for my trip?

There are items you must budget for – flights, accommodation, meals, transport, transfers, activities and experiences, shopping, tips and ancillary expenses.

How about your payment terms?

Before making specific trip arrangement, we require a non-refundable trip planning fee of US$500.  When we come back with a full itinerary and a price tag, we will collect a confirmation deposit of 40% of the price tag.  The remainder of the price tag must be paid 90 days prior to your date of departure to hold your bookings.  You can check our Terms and Conditions for pricing and payment details.

Which payment methods do you accept?

You can pay through bank transfer or online credit card payment.  Credit card processing is done by Paypal.  At no point will we have your credit card details.

What is your cancellation policy?

Please see our Terms and Conditions.  The cancellation fees are non-negotiable.
